Faculty

The primary function of all Vital Church Initiative faculty is raising the leadership competencies of pastors and key laity in the congregation. We are always looking for new faculty members. Each role requires a certain amount of training.

Phase I Facilitator

Trained and skilled to facilitate VCI continuous learning communities for growth through shared spiritual journey, mutual accountability and leadership proficiencies for laity and pastors leading the congregation together.

Support Coach

Skilled coaching sessions are designed for the pastor of participating congregations to initially learn how to be coachable. Focusing on goals, priorities and issues faced by leaders.

Peer Mentoring Facilitator

Trained and skilled to facilitate a group of VCI pastor’s in continuous learning communities for growth through shared spiritual journey, mutual accountability and leadership proficiencies.

Consultant

The Consultation Event is the VCI centerpiece. The consultation team of laity and pastors learns a congregation’s truth, then writes a report of prescriptions –a to-do list– to begin momentum for healthy change in the congregation.

Directive Coach

Skilled coaching sessions are designed for the pastor of participating congregations to initially learn how to be coachable.  Focusing on goals, priorities and issues faced by leaders. Then coaching undergirds the work of the faith community’s specific consultation report prescriptions.
